Do you disagree Jason that physical security starts with: 1. Keeping location secret 2. Minimizing outsiders and the number of people who know the facility's security protocol? I am simply referring to security protocols, and if someone wishes to keep something secure. If you believe that the US is hiding the fact that Ft Knox is empty, then I agree with you sir. I am for honest, open government. Assuming that there is gold in Ft Knox, I, as a taxpayer, want it kept as secure as possible. If gold is there, and the government is not lying about it, the worst thing we can do is breach established security protocols and make it less secure. I hope none of my posts make it sound like I am against open government, or for lying to the US citizens. I was simply making the point that there are very good reasons for not letting media into Ft Knox even if it has the gold, so this lack of access does not prove the gold is gone. That is what I was trying to convey at least. If that candidate, once becoming president found out that indeed the gold was still there, but STILL opened it up to the media, I believe that would be very ill advised. If he, or any president, found out there is no gold there, I would hope they would tell us the truth. Chris
