In that eventuality, the silver and gold I&#039;ve collected might let me get some things that would otherwise be unavailable to me. Mostly, though, I think life after that event would be nasty, brutish, and short, no matter what &quot;stuff&quot; I may have on hand. The prospect of surviving in those conditions for five or ten years instead of one or two doesn&#039;t really motivate me very much.
