How Fast Will The Mint Be Today?

Ok folks.. I ordered one just after lunch CDT and my girlfriend ordered one at 9 CDT..

So I'd think that hopefully I get both, but from what folks posted today, I think we are sold out! No telling how many P&D cent roll orders came in today, or anything else for that matter..

The mint will have to work through the orders to find the people who ordered more than one so those orders can be canceled.

I don't know if we have a sellout yet. The Mint website still allows you to add one to your cart.

 

Mint Web site allows orders and has eliminated any comments about a "wait list". Pontificate on the meaning of that.

So, looks like we all need to order one for a family member/friend to sell this thing out.

 

Anyone else notice the US Mint expected ship date keeps slipping...started as 5/12..several changes later now at 5/16

 

I hadn't noticed until your post, but it is definitely not a surprise. It is the rule more than the exception with them.

 

Yup, they did the same thing with the proof ASE's.

 

My bank account was just charged for the 5 ounce mint order!

 

The US Mint:

Order Status: Your order request has been shipped.

 

I haven't received the "Your order request has been shipped" email yet but when checking my order status on the website, the Item Status has been changed to "In stock and reserved" :luckyguy:

I see that at the bottom of the status page but at the top it also says "your order is on hold" so it's still in limbo.

 

Mine shipped yesterday afternoon UPS. Arrived in town this morning! No notice from the mint yet. Had to go to 'track order' on the mint's site. What a surprise! Just about spilled my coffee when I saw that 'it' was in town already! When I get 'it' I'll try to take pics and post!

Since you have your coin already, would you mind sharing your order number with us? We could all get an idea where they are and where we are in the delivery system.

Hope ya can see this. Some stuff going on around the word Springs of Hot Springs. I had to hold the puck at an angle to see this. Only spot on the coin where this has happened. Images taken with a hand held microscope.
