Help Me Identify This Please

12 silver bars with zodiacs on the front of each. They are in a red case with slots into the red felt interior.

The back of each bar has some sort of "GM" logo (stylized) in the upper left along with "Plata 1000" on the lower right.

I'm trying to determine the manufacturer/mint and possibly a date?

Any information is greatly appreciated!
