It&#039;s&nbsp; too little too late to fix past problems and adding more product offerings only dilutes&nbsp; overall interest and &quot;special&quot; ness that they are using to sell&nbsp; something to you.</p><p><br /></p><p>I felt the best option in the entire survey was&nbsp; the question about whether the Mint should &#039;mint to demand&#039; and only&nbsp; fulfill orders based on orders taken. I have been suggesting this idea&nbsp; on CT and in such surveys for some time. The survey also suggested the&nbsp; Mint may sell bullion direct to retail customers, which is interesting&nbsp; considering the current arrangment with APs. </p><p><br /></p><p>The worst design of&nbsp; the survey was the amount of demographic information they were collecting without sufficient opt-out (decline to answer) choices. It also needed&nbsp; options to give no prefered choice for some of their ideas that they&nbsp; wanted answers for when asking customer preference in the survey. </p><p><br /></p><p>These&nbsp; surveys do not convince me that the US Mint is committed to fixing&nbsp; problems customers cite nor having an open channel of communication with&nbsp; them by hiring outside agencies to conduct marketing surveys,&nbsp; maintaining the distance between the Mint and their customer/collector.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
