How could I be either when the master himself has admitted what's good for the collective is usually bad for individual. Or do you not have a "recollection" of that?

You should archive that gem. When your 75 and teaching "hazy cosmic jive"--David Bowie--at some community college, you can use that as an example of declining marginal returns.

Not a specific recollection, but it sounds right. The disconnect between was makes sense for the individual vs. what makes sense for the economy at large is a recurring theme.

Perhaps the two most famous are "The Tragedy of the Commons" and "The Paradox of Thrift". You should look up both.

This is where Austrians go astray universally. They say if it's good for me, the economy is just a bunch of individuals so it's good for all. As it turns out, that's just plain wrong. It even has a name - the composition fallacy.

See, Mr. @myownprivy ? It really is the wackjobs and woo-woo'ers that are keeping bullion markets afloat. That's the part they're correct about.

Hey you know what would really be cool? Put five exclamation points after that post and then escalate the number of exclamation points after each of your future posts about wacko stackers. At the end of the year your last statement, something totally original, such as: all stackers are wackjobs, should have about 35 million exclamation points after it. You'll be a slam dunk for winning the Nobel Prize for empirically proving the theory of declining marginal returns.

Then you can proudly proclaim: Children of Lord John look at me. I'm your future!

I get tickled every time I pass a strip mall storefront with a sign "So and So's Coin Laundry". Why are you washing your coins?
