http://www.cointalk.com/threads/what-grade-is-this-1934-peace-dollar.239124/ Rules: The winner -- the person who correctly guesses the grade for a coin I will get graded on December 20 by ICG -- gets a free circulated Peace dollar. A tie among participants means I will conduct a raffle. The contest ends December 20 at 12:00 AM. Please read the stickies at the top of the contest forum by Doug.
I am not charging anything for this contest. It is free, and I will pay all shipping. The winner gets a generic, circulated Peace dollar. I will select a winner if there is a tie among participants through a random process. Post your guess in this thread to comply with contest rules in this forum.
To clarify, if the coin is given a grade no one has guessed, I will award the Peace dollar [a separate one] to the person closest to the numerical score. If the coin is given a details grade, I will choose from those who correctly guessed the level of detail the coin has and randomly select a winner among them, unless someone has explicitly predicted it would get that particular details grade.
If I had to go off of pics I'd say AU-58 but could be much better in-hand, hopefully not worse. Either way nice coin! Oh also, ICG still grade coins?!?!???
Based on photos and your in hand description MS 61 I have low MS peace dollars with more dings Nice strike.
