Got busy working myself this grade just baffled me. Looks like a strong 45 even a 50 to me is lightly struck in places but there's barely any wear again my pics not great. But I figured it a 50
Let's see if cac gives it a gold bean is on its way to there tomorrow. Compared to my other pcgs xf 40 arrows 1854 this is a gem. The other sucks so bad I'm embarrassed to offer it for sale
I like it as a 40. To me, it just doesn't have an AU "look" to it - a little too much rub, and not enough luster. I don't think that PCGS appreciates the dark toning.
I tend to agree on the toning. Me I'm a huge fan of gunmetal gray original silver. Is a 45 anyway. Pcgs so inconsistent lately at least they didn't detail anything this time for no reason. By the way your thd only one who got it
Grades in these 2 tone blue holders are all over the place. Opportunities for savvy buyers like Mainebill.
Was a coin I bought raw. And sent in. Agree with the shaded blues sone real crap and some real winners there liking ngc more and more. Except when pcgs slabs some real rubbish but then I dont really wanna sell it myself
Wow I'm quite surprised. Hopefully the local dealers in my area will have some PCGS XF-40s like this that they want to sell for 40 money!! Not holding my breath through.
Wow, they were rough on that one. I was going to say 50 until you showed the grade. I'm not a huge fan of the look either, but it has far too much detail for a 40 IMHO.
I'd be very surprised if that got a green bean. It has an unnatural look, like its been messed with. That does not look like a coin that CAC would want.
pcgs tends to fault darker coloring. I don't think there is enough luster to warrant au (given that I am working from images). Might get a green bean though. Good luck!
