As an Ohioan I've followed this legislation for the past several years. It has been vetoed, modified, and re-introduced several times with differing language meant to constrain the forms of precious metals eligible for the abatement. I've read through the text of the law several times and am still a bit confused.
One of my local coin dealers has a business partner with a legal degree so the next time I stop in I'll have to ask what their interpretation is and what products will be available sans sales tax.
It would be great if junk silver was exempted from sales tax but I'm not holding my breath.

    Your thoughts?

Looks B&W to me . . . bullion coins are in and collectible coins are out.
