I still have my five sets in the original box from the mint. Here is my question. Can I get NGC to grade the delivery box from the mint? It was delivered by UPS in pretty good shape. It may have a few smudges on the side, but otherwise, pretty much prestine. Do you think that I could get an MS-65 on the box? I'm thinking that the unopened box might have value in near mint condition:) Have I had too many brews?

Well, I'm at the "Quality Control" stage. I should be seeing the numbers soon....not sure I want to look or just wait until they arrive.

It arrived on 11/12 but not entered into their system until 11/14, so 7 working days or so? Not bad...

Looks like you got 20 out of 25 as MS70 or PF70 - not bad at all. And after seeing the postings on the Collectors Universe board, I think I'm glad I stuck with NGC. I saw some PCGS posters who couldn't even assemble one set out of a box of 5!

Now I have to go to the post office tomorrow and resend them because the morons in San Bernardino sent back my registered box - I am sure I will get in a nice little battle with the Postmaster though, because I am not paying twice to send them when they didn't make it out of SoCal the first time (it's a long story and I don't want to revisit it until I win the "discussion" tomorrow).

But it is 10.5 hours later in India. Beer time! I must say that the label on my mint box was virtually perfectly centered into the middle of the top of the box. I'm thinking that it might get an MS-66 for this alone. The box is pristine. The UPS guy delivered it wearing a aeseptic suit with nitrile gloves and a respirator. It has to be a perfect box, which of course leads to perfect coins within. I'm thinking it must mean something on ebay. Let me start typing.
