Ouch! Fortunately it’s the only coin of mine in a 2x2. Everything else is slabbed and capsuled. If I ever use a 2x2 in the future though I’ll definitely crimp.

I am placing all of my gold and better coins in plastic air tights now.

 

What exactly are plastic air tights. I've used 2 x 2's for years that are made of a thin cardboard material with a "plastic" (or whatever it is) opening that I can see my coins. I would like to know how I can find out what they look like, etc.

 

I use Lighthouse Everslab ordered through AMOS Media Company order size for specific coin dimensions for permanent seal and Coin World Premier which can be opened without breaking out like Everslab. Google to see images. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks for the info. I assume they fit the coins well. I got some from Amazon and they were either too small or too large.

 

They show you which size to purchase for each coin and are very exact.
