Let's hope that, unlike Everest, there isn't too much trash accumulating from the repeated attempts. Or bodies.
Supply and demand for gold is pumpin' and a jumpin'! I can't help but be excited even though a lot of my gold is foreign, gold is gold!
Folks who discover this website in 2030 when gold crosses $3,500 will say we were LUCKY to be able to buy 1/3rd lower or more. They'll be high-fiving because they bought an MS-65 common Saint for under $4,000 !!
"Right now, gold is sensing that inflation is more of a driving variable than the interest rates and part of the momentum is also driven by speculators, hedge funds and commodity funds that start buying gold whenever their quantitative systems give them signals," Marex analyst Edward Meir said
Mr. Goldfinger1969 Silver will hit 30.00 before gold hits 3,000. Thats my uneducated guess. Ready, Set, GO.... it's on like Donkey Kong.
Maybe.....percentage wise, and given silver's higher volatility that's not a surprise. But gold is setting all-time highs, silver has to double to do that.
I killed it when silver spiked a decade ago. Doesn’t much matter where prices were then or 1980 although I did great way back then. On this trip silver will outperform Although I’m not selling my gold And they’re both spring loaded as I’ve posted on other threads over the past few months.
$2,320 today....what I find super-bullish is that gold makes new highs on any news: Fed gonna cut...Fed not gonna cut....economy strong...economy weak. Gold is like a beachball being held under the water....too much force to propel it UPWARD. If it weren't for Bitcoin we might be at $3,000 already.
Circulating US silver at 19.8x FV, pre-1933 gold at 112.4x FV. I remember higher prices for silver from the 2011 spike, but of course this is new (non-inflation-adjusted) territory for gold.
The supply/demand imbalance for gold was less severe for gold than silver. Hence, why the fundies there have taken it relatively higher since the 2011 -12 peaks. Silver WILL eclipse $50 an ounce though I am not sure it goes to $100 in my lifetime. Gold will hit $3,500 in all probablility; $5,000 possible but not sure what takes it that high. Maybe if BTC implodes ?
