So I decided upon a different path all together. I picked up all of these over the last week on ebay for less than melt. Whatcha think (besides that I am terrible at taking pictures!)? I still have 3 more coins in the mail coming to me (1945s Philippines 50c, 1922 GB Florin, and 1931 GB 1/2 Crown,. 1921 Great Britain Florin.jpg 1925 Australia Shilling.jpg 1932 Portugal 5 Escudos.jpg 1942 Australia Florin.jpg 1942 Great Britain Half Crown.jpg 1943S Australia Shilling.jpg 1946 Great Britain Half Crown.jpg 1968 Mexico 25 Pesos.jpg .

So I got the 1945-S Philippines 50 Centavos in the mail today. The stupid mailman delivered it to a different house with the same number as ours. He does it all the time. Luckily, because he does it all the time, we are pretty good with the people who live there, and Tommy brought it over to me this evening. I also bought 2 Candain Wildlife series rounds (Moose and Pronghorn) last night for $25 a piece which is the cheapest I've seen them in awhile.

Great coins! I know you already pulled the trigger but since you don't have any gold, yet 120 oz of silver I'd sell or trade some of that silver for a raw half eagle liberty. You can get them I'm XF to low AU for about $340-350 which is only a little over spot. You will actually have both a piece of history and tangible gold that has a little weight unlike those awful 1/10 oz things. It's always good to diversify a bit too so you are not tied to just one PM. I bought one right at spot that has probably been cleaned and I use it for a golf ball marker. If you can part with a bit more silver I'd actually get a full eagle Liberty as that really begins to feel like something.

I think what you have gotten for $115 is awesome! I would hang on to those coins. They may have been valued at melt, but they are worth far more as numismatic coins! Nice score!

I like that idea. I have been thinking of getting rid of some of my 40% Kennedy's. I know they aren't worth as much and they take up a lot of room. If I do get rid of some, I think I might do as you suggested. Thanks :)

Thanks! A few more pieces came in the mail today. I will post the others as they filter in over the next week or so. I still have about $8 left of my original $165 so I'm looking for something good to get. :)

That RCM wildlife antelope looks really nice.. background and all. The moose coin seems skimpy with the background. Is that a fingerprint on the moose?

    Nice scores.

Nice stuff, don't care for the 50% GB stuff so much, but like the Canada Wildlife rounds.

Nice scores. I am okay with the 50%, since that was the last British coinage that contained silver. It's worth more than the silver content and will go up and up in the future as well because of its rarity.

Yeah I know the silver content isn't that high but I figured that only paying melt for it wasn't a bad deal. I've gotten a few more pieces in the mail and have a few more coming. I'll get pics up when they come.
