    Newest Krugerrand I've received from my LCS. Normally 70s and 80s a plenty, but not this time!

    Krugerrs are for sure cool, got several myself, I am playing the life event game
    with mine, mid 70,s issues are a plenty, however mid 80 issues thru 2019 I am
    finding tough gets.

    I will be adding some more Gold foam here in a couple days, making a stop first
    at my LCS, to see if they got any new Kruger's in, got my fingers crossed, also
    looking at some proofs, they had one last time but not sure if its graded
    also looking at some proof / cameo Libertads on line will see who wins out this round:)

    Here is a St. Gaudens $20 gold piece that I got for $67 at a 1971 Dayton coin show.

    1971 was a great year. Median household wages crossed $10K/year for the first time in history. The median house price was $25K.

    Yep, that double eagle was still a relative bargain.

    Great buy back in the day when ounces were selling for anywhere from $60-$70, you did very well! thumbsup.gif I know cause I actually sold one in that same time frame! :D
