...He wasn't from Nigeria, and I resold four of the five coins I got for the same amount I paid for the four...so I got a free nice 50 peso coin.

I actually do a lot of transactions on craigslist. Obviously this one smells fishy but I have not once had an issue meeting random people for exchange of goods. Although we usually agree on a place with cameras to meet ie.. Cop shop shopping mall, walgreens parking lots even restaurants. If you are exchanging I would say anything over $1000 dollars, meet at the bank which is what I do.
