Just think...in a mere ten (10) days, the <i><b>NEW KEY DATE </b></i>Roosevelt Dime and Kennedy Half will enter the record books; Nearly 100,000 less than the nearest rival (1995). Sure, 2011 has lower sales at the moment...but just wait!</p><p><br /></p><p>The Mint is &quot;supposed&quot; to stop selling the 2011 Silver Proof sets when the 2012 sets go on sale, but when is that gonna be?! It should have been on January 25th, but the Mint has posted its planned releases through the end of February and still no 2012 Silver Proof sets. The 2012 Silver Proof &quot;Quarter&quot; sets go on sale on January 13th...which may quench collector&#039;s (Flipper&#039;s) thirst for the new quarter designs...but what about the lowly Roosevelt dimes and Kennedy Halves? </p><p><br /></p><p>I suspect the Mint produced too many of the 2011 sets and they want to sell as many as possible before releasing the 2012 sets.
