So I don't think she want's to do the extra leg work writing out lengthy explanations, which is a shame, IMO.

Yeah.

Honestly, the numbers will take years to finalize for publications to actually report them accurately. Look at the RedBook for coins, the last several years are still not reported/known. The number very well can dip back. The Mint may get a lot of coins with defects returned by dealers or dealers not take delivery of their bullion despite anticipated orders. The Mint could release some data strategically for the market, but down the road, adjust to reflect actual sales/mintages for release. Yep, that's a whole lot of them puppies out there and they will be bullion in the eyes of dealers and many collectors for years but to me that's a good thing. Let people undervalue them and cast them off as bullion, don't take care of them, send them off to the melting pot... down the road they will be collectible and raise in value, especially if the hobby grows or YNs now mature and desire them. I think they have a potential and I never play that mintage game where you only collect what seems the lowest for the highest value coins. Collecting isn't that rational and that system may work at times, but in moderns it really seems to peak and die quickly. After the dust settles I think high quality bullion coins, despite mintages currently reported, have potential. Not all of them, but the UHR, to me, has that in it. IMHO.[/QUOTE]
