This has dual dates, but not quite in the usual fashion. Let's make the new theme death & mourning.

What must it have been like to be aboard a moving train, only to have a fellow passenger die of tuberculosis right next to you? People in the 1800s experienced so many things we have thankfully forgotten in modern times.

"Died on the Train": 1878 mourning token engraved on 1858 Seated Liberty half

That is an amazing story, lordmarcovan, wow. Thanks for posting that one. I do not think I personally have any "death and mourning" coins, wait, I do....... 1901 GB Comem obv (2).JPG 1901 GB Comem rev (2).JPG

edited to add: This was an oops post before I saw the them had changed to death/mourning. The first two at least are life/death dated commems. the third one is perhaps ironically so as the country in 1968 is now separated.

I think this one commemorates the life of their national leader, whatever his name was... 1970 FIN 10 m obv.JPG 1970 FIN 10 m rev.JPG

That is definitely a mourning token.

Continue with death & mourning a bit, then maybe someone will choose to flip that around and do birth and babies or children (which ought to be right up @Stork's alley). But first, let's mourn a little bit.

UK £2 coins fulfil the bill once more! 2016 "Tragedy" from the Shakespeare series - one of the best designs for a while I think.

Apologies for the blurry images - this one is still in its Royal Mint folder, which tends to befuddle the scanner.

His name - Paasikivi - is right on the coin. :) Interesting design; I have that one too. Finland issued the piece to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth.

Numista lists this one as commemorative and non circulating. It was issued after his death in 1965. I share his birth date and the Old Bulldog has always been special to me. 1965 GB 1 crown obv.JPG 1965 GB 1 crown rev.JPG

Side note - a few days ago I was in the area; unfortunately we did not make it to the Hartmannswillerkopf Memorial. Earlier this month the presidents Macron (FR) and Steinmeier (DE) inaugurated the "Historial" there, the very first French-German museum. See here.

This theme may be short-lived, but...

Wizards, fairies, or other mythical "HUMANOID" beings.

(Trying not to post repeats is getting tough)

Anything supernatural will be fine, so let's see some different pieces.

Struggling with this one! Here is a Medal commemorating the visit of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra to Cardiff in 1907. The Coat of Arms of Cardiff feature both a dragon and a horse with a fish's tail. See http://www.ngw.nl/heraldrywiki/index.php?title=Cardiff for a full description.

Gonna go with the assumption that dragons count here. Not even sure this coin is real. I am starting to have so many doubts on my Chinese coins.
