I finally pulled the trigger on the 2020. I got tired of waiting for the premium to come down on them. It was a fun set to put together. It’s a design that I love.

Congrats on your completion achievement. Beautiful looking set but am I seeing some edge toning from the album? 1984, 88, 89.

They are. I think the 88 had the tone when I picked it up.

i like to collect at least one coin that I like for my collection of foreign coins. What would the best way be to get a Libertad?

    Congrats!
I see you also have both types for 1991. What about the 1993 and 1985 at the bottom of that last page-is that just to show obverse and reverse?

Coin show, local coin shop, online bullion stores or ebay.

The 85 on the bottom I picked it up because of the beautiful tone on the reverse. The 93 is a duplicate and has some crusty paper roll tone around the outer rim. I know their are some double dies but does anyone know where I could find a list of varieties on BU libertads?

    Makes sense.

As far as varieties, I found a thread with the same question and some people put together a makeshift list:

They can be expensive. The 1998 the worse of the group. If you are a die hard silver stacker I would not recommend putting together this set, but my guess is a true stacker isn't creating sets just stacks.
I truly love the design and thought it would be fun to put the set together along with my silver eagle book. I've done britannias but have not kept up with it and am thinking about selling them. Maple leafs have no spark for me and which of the pirth mints many issues are you going to collect?
