After much staring at the mailbox waiting, the coin I won from @Theodosius finally arrived: MOESIA INFERIOR. Marcianopolis. Severus Alexander, AD 222-235. Magistrate Umbrius Tereventius. Obv.: AVT K M AVP CEVH AΛEΞANΔPOC; Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev.: HΓ OY M TEPEBENTINOY MAPKIANOΠOΛITΩN; Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia. Ref.: Varbanov 1708. Comp.: Brass From the Sulla80 Collection. Looks better in hand.
Nice coin! But, what do you mean by "won" from another Cointalk member? Like an auction? Have I been missing out on something around here?
Oh, sorry, probably not the best choice of words... What I meant was that I was one of the winners of a drawing here.
He won it in this drawing. @Theodosius was the donor of the goodies and I was the master of ceremonies/expeditor. But I made one tiny goof with @Abramthegreat's mailing address on the envelope, so it got lost in the system a while before it returned to me here. I'm glad it finally reached its proper destination.
