Theodosius Giveaway #1 (five prize drawings for ancient coins)

This contest is now CLOSED. Winners were announced in Post #54 and subsequent posts.

Greetings! @Theodosius had these coins sent to me to donate to a giveaway, months back, and I'm only now getting around to them. :sorry:

The coins came from @John Anthony's Auction #195 inventory, and the photos and descriptions are John Anthony's (d.b.a. JAZ Numismatics).

We'll do individual drawings for each of the five coins, so with one entry post, you'll have five chances to win one. (Limit one win per contestant.)

    To enter this contest:

    1. Type the phrase "entry post" at the top of your first reply to the thread. You may reply conversationally to the thread as often as you like, but only one entry post per contestant.

    2. Name your three favorite coins from the batch (see the next post below) and mention those, so that if you win one of the five drawings, you'll have a better chance of getting one you want.

That's it, I think. Be sure to thank our sponsors- I am merely the master of ceremonies here.

You may enter on behalf of another member if you do not wish to win one of these for yourself.

The drawings should be done via random number generator sometime on or around the first of June, 2022, but if that gets delayed by my absence, you may consider the contest to be open for entries until such time as I return and do the drawings.

    Numismatic Regards,

    ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM")
On behalf of @Theodosius, with the help of @John Anthony

See next post for the prizes... :)

I really like B, C, and D the best though they're all wonderful. I don't have a Constantine, and I've been reading up on him and I think the history is quite fascinating. Thank you to Theodosius and Lordmarcovan for organizing this GaW!

Thanks to the sponsors and host! You guys are great.

I have no ancient coins, and very little knowledge of such.
Simply seeing these coins here made me do some research.

I like A, that fella seemed to have changed the status quo of the ancient world. Also D & E are beautiful pieces.

    Thanks again!
