Father and Son Reunion....

I went after these two Tetradrachms for the most basic of reasons: They both greatly appealed to me, especially at the low retail price I was able to obtain them. Both are 'BILLON' Tets, yet exhibit little of the rough surfaces common for the type and the toning, especially on Phil I, was more than I could resist. Not to mention they nicely complement my only other examples---one Antoninianus of each ruler.

Please post any coin type you may have or any other Tet you may wish to share. :)

Eagle standing left with open wings, wreath in beak

    Great posts @Jwt708 and @steve6!!!

I've always had a deep fondness for the 'big bronze' types!

I usually buy coins from dudes that take great coin-photos (I kinda suck at taking my own coin-photos)

=> I used to collect more modern coins and bank-notes, but during the past 5-6 years I've only been buying ancients
