Fake or not?

Here, in Russia, we used to check silver with iodine. Suprisingly, I didn't find such videos in English-speaking youtube. But this method is quite popular among russian collectors/stackers. Iodine traces can be easily removed using the toothpaste.

That's a new one for me, probably what we use here in the states as silver testing acid.

From a collectors perspective were really looking for Non-destructive approach to verification.
Magnets, scales, calipers, metal detectors and specific gravity.
