    Thank you. Ironically, I got married in October 1969 and I was inducted March 17, 1970. I wasn't even married 6 months when I went in, and my name is Patrick and March 17 th is Saint Patrick's Day. Maybe that's why I was one of the lucky ones that made it home, St. Patrick may have been watching over me.

    Because it has never happened here in recent memory. I could see Kurt eating crow if he was ever robbed. :blackeye:

    This goes back to not putting all your eggs in one basket. Diversification in storage is a valid strategy - assuming you remember where you put things. Some are a bit more extreme, but to each their own.

    My dad installed a safe in his mom's garage without anyone knowing after he got out of the military. He kept cash on hand in it off and on for 40 years.

    We always hear stories of buried treasure of one type or another.

    It's the ones we don't hear about that interest me. :)
