Ever wonder if it's all kind of silly?

I was looking at how similar these stainless steel mounting brackets are to "the precious" LOL

Sell them to the film crew for "The Curse of Oak Island". They can bury them in the Money Pit and the swamp.

Yes it all is pretty silly. Wasn’t it King Solomon that built the wealthiest empire of his time on salt and copper mines? Who knows what will be of great value to future generations.

And yet markets value platinum more than silver and gold more than brass. Forgive them; clearly they don't have that blinding brilliance and discerning eye.

I'll take the brackets. Really well made.

Are they supposed to be used for mounting a stallion or for a stallion mounting a mare?

Yeah, same thoughts hit me for all areas I collect sometimes. I got into colonial paper recently, and sometimes wonder why the heck I am spending such money on old ugly paper.

Any collectible field, like pm purchases, I think will strike a person as kind of dumb at times. I have felt that way about ancients for a few months, which is why I started buying PT, colonial paper, and a few other things for a while now. I will "get" ancients again pretty soon again. :)
