EBay tax on 90% and pre 33 gold .

    Neither the Federal Government , nor Amazon, Walmart or any other seller, sets the sale taxes for any state. The representatives of each state in their capitol decides that. If you don't like the level, vote them out, but be ready for many of the services one might have to go away or be collected in higher rates rather than taxes. You have to have food, water , electricity , etc.

    If a person can't save up enough to make a one-time bullion purchase over the needed amount with no taxes, should they be doing so anyway? IMO, Jim

    None of your examples have to do with state sales tax, you pay for everyone individually

    In CA anything selling over face value is a collectable therfore subject to sales tax. Also, Ebay can eat a giant bag of D.
