    buffalo gold

i think the buffalo is losing ground to eagle. as the sales figure for buffalo is not impressive at all. with 24k attached on it. i rather buy spouse gold.

Go with the Buffalo, great obverse and reverse. Where as I was never to keen on the Eagle family deal.

I would be happy with either one, or both, but would be leaning towards the buffalo.:)

They are both very attractive designs. My suggestion is consider the '09 ultra high relief double eagle. Now that's an awesome design!!!

platinum hit a high of $979.00 an ounce. soon to pass $1,000.00 again. gold should follow too.

Is there a difference between the Buffalo and the Eagle as far as how many are minted? If so why? I think the eagle looks more appealing.

    buffalo is 24 K.
buffalo is very much fewer mintage than eagle.

    design both were excellent.

    buffalo mixed with copper.
eagle mixed with silver and copper.

i like both. but i also like chinese panda and british sovereign.

Personally I like the buffalo proof much better. I didn't know it had copper in it, i thought it was .9999 fine.
