    The dollar does NOT trade in tandem with gold except for short spurts.

    I would say probably not and the reason is simple, there is just to much of it, many
    Silver mines have gone out of business, it costs to much to get it out of the ground
    versus what its worth, GOLD on the other hand is a different story.....
