At what point in human history has there not been people playing to others fears? You can bury all this crap and hoard up but you cannot hide if something like this really happens. It is the man (or woman) that will not be afraid to commit to his action that will prevail - it always is.
I will not live my life in fear or prediction of crap like this, it's selfish and childish and frankly boring. People who choose to live in fear perpetuate their own reality - they pretty much deserve what they get!
After all is said and done it thier heirs that will probably dump thier much coveted loot on the market regardless of price returned and will in the end be grateful somebody was scared.

Sorry but I really was sort of calm when I said this, and as many already know me by now this is a pet peeve of mine times ten. There is just so very little time in a person's life that to spend in fear and hoarding well, I can think of no worse fate than that.
This person can of course do anything he or she fells is best and appropriate as we all can and I don't want to accused of stealing a thread again but,,,
"To spend time, energy, money, worry about any future doomsday prediction that may happen is truly a waisted life IMO".
Nothing that I could ever think of would be worse than I life lived that way!

 

Although my preparation for Armageddon amounts to a couple extra bars of my favorite French soap, I rather enjoy the survivalist's approach to things. They add a little drama to bullion investing .

 

IMO, the problem is that he is a fake, phony, fraud. He's the controlled opposition to make sure "conservatives" don't get too conservative. He makes sure they believe in the banker bailout, foreign wars, federal sales tax, patriot act, and torture. He took a shot a taking over the teaparty movement, but I guess SP takes the crown on that one to make sure they stay in the Republican fold which they formerly fought.

Back to the Coins!!!.. This will start a argument,, I bought several of these Fakes.. They are unmarked "Replica" ( Bad China) and will go into my Fake Collection.. They were a buck each.. Someday I will find myself a counterfeit bill.. I like having a Secret collection that just skirts the Law..

No need to go into the whole "Legal to Own" Issue.. Please read ALL the other post on the subject, These are legal to own.. And as a collector I would NEVER call them Anything but FAKE.. And now that I own them will not resell them..
Now after I die I am sure my kids will trade them in for a Dollar each.. And that is why I plan to haunt them..

To the untrained eye (that would be me) these look very plausible. Of course, for a dollar each they can't be silver, and it would be easy to tell if you actually examine the coin? Are they convincing enough to serve as decoys and to fool a thief looking for your real coins? If so, they might be a good purchase at one dollar apiece.
Most people outside of numismatics/coin collecting don't think that fakes are anything of a problem, especially not at the common bullion end of things. But I think that the more people collect bullion, the higher prices go, the more we are going to see of this.

 

I like a Counterfeit collection.. I also like knowing that they are off the street and NOT in someones hand who has no morals.. These look like pretty good fakes.. scary a little.. I like the idea of a Decoy.. I may use that...
