A negative or neutral feedback is warranted (if you don't make the most basic test on your bars you are accepting the risk of selling a fake).

If leaving negative feedback, there is no need to get all high and mighty about it though.

It's no fun getting a fake. In general I think don't a negative feedback should be left before allowing the seller to make it right. They may or may not have known it was a fake. You can't assume that they were trying to swindle you. If they are willing to give you a full refund then no skin off your back. Their low feedback score of 20 would have been enough to steer me clear.

In this case however, if there was already prior feedback indicating they sold a fake, and this is not their first offense... stick it to them.

Open a case with ebay, get the money back, keep the negative feedback as is. She should have known it was fake and should face the full consequences.

No you don't leave any feedback, you file a Paypal claim because that's what it's for. Worry about feedback after you get your money back.

Its fake silver. Of course you leave neg feedback. I would want to know if was a future buyer.

First you file a paypal claim because getting your money back is more important and let paypal deal with the seller. I did buy a fake gold coin once so I know what to do.

What is the downside to posting neg feedback?

As a new collector, I think this thread is great. Kind of reaffirms my feelings about buying on EBay. Additionally, I didn't know that a magnet doesn't stick to silver. Good to know.

You can search Norfed or Liberty Dollars in the search field and look at the recent threads concerning these pieces. Some of them were very entertaining and informative, if those are the right words :p.

Oh wow....... Okay. Yep. Didn't hear about that at all.
It's so strange how so many things are not on the public radar... I wonder what mass public opinion would be.
