I got the grizzly for $40 within a couple of days from UCB. They took their time getting all the info together and tried to "hard sell" me on some gold. The only literature that came with the coin was the dollar is crashing/buy gold only one page, I was expecting a dvd and 15 pages of "buy from us". Bottom line, my coin arrived.

Universal is pestering me with phone calls. I refuse to deal with them until I receive the silver eagles I ordered.

Nothing is free, that's for sure. But I won't give them any additional information until I receive the products I ordered. Fat chance I'll receive anything from this outfit.

And Apmex needed to place a call to me, too, after its website tricked me into thinking that I could order the ATB set and found out I couldn't after I provided all my personal information.

Anybody new to this forum should beware of these parasites and their too-good-to-be-true offerings. They want your personal info so they can badger you with investment advice and perhaps sell your info to others.

I'm sure some of you have received your products and are happy, but all I'm smelling from these places is opportunism and, in the case of Apmex, horrible ethics.

There is an ad in Scientific American this month with AGE 1/10s for around $158, maximum of 10. But they ad $36 for postage, handling, and insurance. I placed my order yesterday.

Do you remember who posted the SciAm ad? I think I saw the same one in National Review.

This was the response to my post on another site:

EXCELLENT Source of LOWEST-Priced 1/10 Gold Eagles!

This Company has been selling 1/10 oz. Bullion Grade Gold Eagles at the
LOWEST prices anywhere, for a very long time! After my Purchase of all the Tenth oz.
    Gold Eagles
at the Post "Y2K" "Blood in the Street" prices, this company is the
only place I have ever bought
    Tenth Gold Eagles!

I have Posted about them before. Their Shipping charges change! I paid $35.00 only one
    time.
But even at an extra $3.50 per coin, they STILL remain the lowest priced Tenth Gold
    Eagles anywhere!

I have discovered many ways that you can keep buying these Lowest
Priced Tenths for as long as you want to.

After your first purchase of one or ten Tenths, you will be on their Mailing list. They

send you a 12" x 12" Full Color Post Card that is always Advertising the exact
    same promotion, but at the
Market prices of the Time--which will ALWAYS BE THE LOWEST price ANYWHERE!

The ways to buy more than Ten Tenths, at their Always Lowest Price, is easy the first 2
    or 3 times!
At your very First Purchase, tell them that you Expected to be able to buy 20 or 30 Coins
    {or, as many as you can afford}
Since there is no place on the Postcard that the maximum of ten coins is listed!

The next time you receive the Postcard, call in again using only your First & Middle
    Names! Buy as many groups
of Ten Coins that you can afford. Just make sure that your Credit card company knows what
    you want to do.
Since you are Not trying to scam the Credit Card Company, they will let you do it!

The third time you get the Postcard, call them and order as many as you can afford, and
    use your Name
at the very end of the transaction! They will let it go through!

If you can get a little Creative, you'll be able to buy ten of them every time you get
    their postcard

i received my order from universal today in the mail. it was sent priority. it says signature confirmation on the label but it was just sitting in my mailbox. the coins are all in very nice shape. the ase's are high MS and the age is probably high grade also. what a great deal for $221 shipped. :thumb:

Update. My credit card has just shown its been billed for $66. My first order came about a week ago, and now this one should be here in a few days. Just goes to show that the order can take a few weeks to show up on your credit card.

And all of my orders have been placed in my mailbox with no signature required, even though it says "signature confirmation" on the label.

Did you get harassed by them much to buy other stuff before they arrived? I just ordered a $5 silver wolf shipped for $34 and a 2001 silver eagle for $32.50, shipped. Now I'm wondering if I'm going to regret it based on some other posts.

Got my $34.50 2011 ASE in the mail today. Thanks to whoever posted the coupon code, it worked. All the pretty brochures went directly to file 13. I gave them my home phone number which I rarely answer, so the rep will have to talk to an answering machine.

I answered the phone for them the other night to find out when i could expect my coin. Nicest guy in the world. He pitched me but didn't pressure me at all. We actually had a very good conversation and he gave me some info that proved valuable. I was pleasantly surprised.

Is the only way to order over the phone? Is there any deals right now other than the grizzly?

Nice! I double ordered from each company and have recieved 8 ASE's (average price $32) 2 Timberwolfs for 34 each, and i'm waiting for my grizzlys. It appears that the grizzlies are available from all 3 or 4 sister companies of UCB, meaning that they can be ordered from all 4 companies. looks like im getting 8 more grizzly's!

So where do you order them from? I don't see any websites on that list.
