First is a 2oz high relief octagonal coin (1,500 total) from the French Mint. Unfortunately, The coin case displays the reverse side of the coin. The plastic capsule is very firmly wedged into the velvet holder I would probably damage the capsule if I attempted to remove it. When I remove the velvet holder the reverse side is a none removable plastic piece. Waiting to hear from the Mint re: the case. https://www.monnaiedeparis.fr/en/sh...elief-silver-coin-proof-quality-yeardate-2020 Lafayette by Harlow Giles Unger is one of my favorite biographies. An amazing story.
Next is a 1972 PANAMA - 20 BALBOAS - SIMON BOLIVAR - 4 Oz PROOF STERLING SILVER. I believe these coins were made by the Franklin Mint. I paid a few bucks above melt for it. It appears to be a proof coin. Is it possible to remove the fingerprints from the surface?
