Coins, rounds, or bars? And why?

    Silver:
    15% US 90% junk silver, variety
    25% generic bars, most sizes.
    15% generic rounds
    30% low premium government coins (ASE, CML, Phils, Libs)
    15% medium premium gov coins (Perth, RCM)


    Gold:
    40% CMLs
    35% Perth Lunars and Kangaroos
    15% Pandas
    5% PAMP bars
    5% Swiss/French Francs

    And the why... well I don't like AGEs because they have copper (aesthetics), and more importantly they don't come in a sealed plastic sleeve like CMLs.

    I like a healthy amount of generic silver in case I need to melt, and a healthier amount of goverment coins so I hopefully won't have to melt any.

    I like some coins with medium premiums on year of issue, if they tend to go up in price after they are no longer issued.

    I used to really like 90% when it as under spot. Now, I'm just happy to have it, because it will only get more scarce.
