May be the uniqueness of 2013 silver Britannia is that it is struck in full one-ounce of finest .999 silver and this design is available only on proof coins and Brilliant Uncirculated one-ounce coins.
Love the britannias. My fav design by far is the 2001 design. I had to buy an ungraded 4 coin set from a british dealer, then had to send them in for grading (got lucky and got 69 for all 4). I understand ppls beef with grading bullion coins, but I had to preserve these babies. cheers.
Smart move....as far as I'm concerned there is no beef with grading bullion.....it is a coin and it is collectable far beyond the bullion value. Never understood those who make fun of legal tender bullion, yet it is ok for them to spent $30 on a penny. I also have a '01 set but I don't think it would grade out at '69 so i'm just holding onto it for my collection.
