"Burnished" is a slang term for a satin type of finish...all "Ws" have the satin or "Burnished" finish, but many regular strikes also have a satin or "Burnished" finish and it's very difficult to see any difference between the two.

Thanks. Would it be correct to say "The mint mark denote a Burnished Finish, no mint mark means they are regular/bullion strikes and not designated by the mint to have a burnished finish but some of them look like they do"?

The Mint does not designate any particular finish other than Unc. for a "W" mint coin. These terms are invented by collectors.
