I see that they've caught on about not cross-listing things in the Bullion category, finally. So, yep, it's eligible.

Edit: they're selling cleaned ones for only about $2.50 less than that -- and, in another listing, ten or twenty bucks more than that! I've got some interest in picking up a cleaned Saint, but not if I can get an MS64 for the same price...

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Ebay has been good to us this Christmas. A few days ago, they had an 8% Ebay Bucks, today 15% off.

And yes, I bought something on each day :)

I'm still not getting eBay Bucks promotions, but I'd like to hear when they're happening so I can list stuff to take advantage of them. Does anybody know of a website that calls them out reliably and promptly when they happen? (Yeah, I know they only go out to some people, but it seems like it's usually a pretty large group.)

They're still good for coins but not bullion, right?

I don't know about bullion, that is not something I track. But it worked for the coin I bought.

I'm pretty sure purchase from the Bullion category don't earn eBay Bucks, ever, period. I'm thinking that change was back around 2013...?

I can’t think of a time there was an eBay bucks promo where either bullion or coins were excluded. Perhaps because I only look at US old gold. A buddy and I message each other every eBay bucks promo. I recommend you find someone and do the same! (Or find a website, I don’t know any)

They stopped giving eBay Bucks for bullion purchases in Sept. 2011.

The real stinker is when a seller lists something in a category I'm searching, but cross-lists it in Bullion -- which means it's ineligible for Bucks and for most promotional offers. There was at least one time that I didn't catch that until after I'd hit the Buy button. :rage:

    bsting Never enough coins.lol

I am going to have to take a look and see what is out there. I am thinking probably with a final cost of around $100 or less is my target.

I can't figure out what to get. 4 rolls of 90% quarters comes out to about $13.41 an ounce. Can't find any coins I have been wanting though.

I was going to go for one of the rolls-of-quarters deals, figuring I could flip them at the next local coin show for a few dollars' profit, but I ended up getting a Bill of Rights proof set (gold $5, silver $1, silver .50) listed at $325 + 7.19 S&H. Came out to $283.44, around 10% below melt.

It didn't use up the full value of the coupon, and I think the coupon is good for one checkout rather than just one item, so I probably could've loaded on a roll of quarters or two from another seller to maximize my advantage. Oh, well.

I've wanted an 1880S Morgan or 1882S and I can get some deals. I don't like being rushed though.
