My most affordable LCS also sells fractional gold at 5% over spot, but as sodude said you can often get these closer to spot by dealing with people directly. On average you might only pay in the realm of $150 more for ten 1/10ths vs. a a solid 1 oz. That is an extra $15 per coin which isn't a lot IMO considering you are only $185 out of pocket instead of $1700. So you're paying $15 more but parting with $1515 less. I like 1/10th and 1/4th gold maples myself since I prefer 9999 pure for something as expensive as gold. Anything larger is not very liquid. I am looking into getting some 1/10th oz silver eagles too.
From DanRitz at BullionStacker: ENIGOLD.COM (US-COINS) has 5 dollar AGE for spot price +10 for shipping ordered from them before and no problem reordering.
I sold a couple on feebay for 195-200 last week so i believe that is the average selling price for it.
