Your bank will charge you a fee for the wire. Usually this varies between $15-30. You need to bring the order form with you because it has the receiving bank's info on it.

The choice to buy it or not is a personal one and depends on many factors. I would note that it is hard to buy pure silver from a recognized source for less than spot with some possiblility for additional numismatic value. That factor influenced me the most. Others far more knowledgeable than me can opine on the future numismatic value of these coins, if any there will be.

They push the S&H to the limit because they are restricted as to the markup they charge. That being said, the only price that matters is the total price and the only factor to consider is whether you believe that the total price is less than what you feel it should be worth to you.

 

I know just a bargain shopper. My bank is open tomorrow and I think I am going to do it, with only 30 K made they might be worth something in the future.

 

It seems odd to pay $80 shipping when I could rent a sports car and drive to Dallas and pick them up for less than that. Ugh.

 

I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I'll post an update when (if) these arrive.
