I like generic silver rounds b/c of the price at my local dealers 1.5-2 over spot per round. $1 if you buy a tube or more. But I have never bought Provident Metals silver bullets. I see APMEX 2oz bullet is $40. $12 over spot. Are silver bullets worth the $ or just stick with rounds, bullion, junk silver?
They are a novelty item; nothing more, nothing less. You are paying more because their shape is just different.
Stick with junk. Although I would say i have a couple of silver arrowheads, don't buy them as an investment. But if you want one just because you like them then why not (just no more than one or two)
Silver is just that, silver. It is only produced in different shapes, sizes and designs to get more money for it. In the end, it's still 1 oz. of silver.
It's fun to carry something in your pocket that everyone has not seen before. Great for striking up a conversation! Buy only one though. It's a novelty, not an investment.
Not funny when the State finds them on you. Cross the border with those. They don't see them as silver is just silver, lol.
True, but there are people here who collect more than just coins. I believe we have a number of members who are into guns & ammo. In cases like this, it would be considered a cross-collectible. No, I don't collect guns & ammo, but I do collect shot glasses and casino chips. Chris
Yep, I agree....I live in Mexico, buy a lot from eBay, JMB and APMEX ect...crossing back to hide my stack in Mexico or crossing back into the States b/c I sold them,....yikes!
Don't try to go through airport security with one. By the time they get done freaking out, you will have delayed the whole air traffic system...
Easy for you to say. Eons ago I was finishing my laundry and dropped a pair of underwear. I was in a hurry to pick up my wife, so I just stuffed them in my pocket, took my basket of clean laundry inside and took off to the airport.
