I wish I had one from emptying myself. Doesn't seem like a bad storage medium though.

Yea good question...The Maple Leaf does look a little larger then the American Eagle Box.
Then again I'm probably seeing things.

both empty boxes and tubes come in handy for storage.
The CML box is taller but smaller in L and W than the ASE box

I've found that pelican boxes work great. I love the new pluck foam system.

For $8 you can't go wrong. Are they air/water tight?

    No, they are not.

That's why I'll choose my pelican box any day over that. Then again $8 vs....my expensive pelican box.

Ag (in gov't minted coins) will start to build over time. The Pelican Case will start to add to the overall cost, especially in bullion/investor form. The mint crates are the cheapest/fastest way to store.

Some LCSs, if you have a good rapport will give for free or a smaller fee.

No, I don't use one - won't fit in the SBD.

Are the monster boxes like easy to hide?

I like to store tubes in ammo cans. You can find surplus ammo cans for around $10. They are air tight as long as the rubber seal is good.
