Anyone have an old receipt for silver or gold when the prices were cheap that they want to share?

This is the oldest receipt I still have.

    A 10 oz silver bar for $170.

Not old, but here is one from the March 2020 crash
    Placed on: 03/17/2020
    Paid on: 03/17/2020
$18.05 per silver oz (including premiums)
    Spot was below $12 oz
Not a bad price, but an excellent example of insane premiums during a flash crash:)

I probably have some with prices but no receipts. I used to buy silver from people at 3 times face. Before you think I was ripping them off, I could buy it from dealers at 3.4x, and they paid 2.7x, so I thought buying at 3x was a good deal for both parties. This was in the early 1990s.

Like @-jeffB, I spent too much on computer equipment then. Should have spent more on pm. :(

Should have specified vintage....just thought it was implied.

I don't have a receipt handy, but back in 2006, I bought two full burnished gold eagle sets, Ounce, half, quarter and tenth for about $1350 each. They were considered limited at the time and I sold one full set for $1699 right away and took my profit. I figured that I was being pretty clever.
