Some people, (I will include myself in this to a point), simply love silver. Back when it was only $4 an ounce, going out and buy a couple of rolls was not that great of a luxury purchase. I would like silver to be back there, where I would just buy a couple of rolls for fun on a whim. Its getting there, if the premiums on junk would drop back to normal its just $150 and change for a roll. Not too bad to buy a roll for funsies once a month for something to do.

I would actually like to buy a whole mess of world gold, but personally believe gold has further to fall at this point to get back into line with what "fair value" is in my mind. Get it around $1000 an ounce, and I will be buying up misc world gold just for fun. I still remember when I could buy roosters and the like for $69. Those days will never come again, but for $200 or so they would be fun purchases.

I guess my point is for people like this, they are not buying to "survive" something, they buy it and hoard it as their way of life. Its just what some people do for enjoyment. TBH, looks pretty dang fun to me too!!!
