A 1986 American Gold Eagle Coin, 1/2 ounce. Seller is brand spankin' new from Hungary, brand new, no sales. Started selling 1/15, what do you think? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gold-Coin-...706033?hash=item5494067cf1:g:EwsAAOSwJy1gAqHb
Probably real, probably not the sellers but some random pictures that they pulled off the internet as no 2 listings are the same background. Seller is brand spankin' new from Hungary. That translates to Hard Pass. Have them Booted...that's not NGC certified as the listing states.
Zero-feedback seller from Hungary, listing quite a lot of gold? Did I mention that he has zero feedback? And that he'd be shipping from Hungary, meaning shipping delays are likely to be expected? He might be a legit seller. If so, I feel bad for him. Of all the folks apparently bidding on the auctions, I wonder how many of them will turn out to be scammers?
Yes, red flags for sure, the packaged gold bars don't help him at all! That said, he could be totally legit but there are quite a number of coin minting operations in Hungary as I've seen plenty of fakes coming from that Country. Here's a fake Daniel Carr that came from Hungary a few years ago! I bought it knowing it was a fake to add to my counterfeit collection. The mintage numbers are really low on this copy as I told Daniel the seller had fakes for sale and he put the brakes on that seller right away! Low mintage numbers don't help me in this case!
From Hungary, and brand new ? I would have to pass on that just to skeptical of a newbie from another country.
