American eagle gold proof series

it is good that the 2010w ASE one ounce proof was set at $45.95 few weeks ago. and the price of silver was just $22.00 per ounce. now it is $26.00. it would have to offer at $53.95 each.

This is a gold eagle thread. The ASE price was proposed, the product is yet to go on sale, the US Mint can change it if they so choose or prolong the date the coins go on sale to protect their profit.

 

I sent in a number of AEG proofs to NGC to try and get Ultracam 70's. I got three to certify 70. Only premium is on 1/10 and 1/4 oz. proofs in PCGS 70, one buyer is offering $750 for 1/4 oz. proofs in 70.

I asked a major buyer recently on the AEG and AEPs with box and papers--what is current buy price? The premium has collapsed on those, people are just buying the metal currently.

Apmex and Gainesville are OK for gold and other metals at competitive rates, but not for the premium products. Apmex will never offer strong on AEG proofs.

 

hmmmmm, I wonder how much Apmex will offer me if I want to sell one set to them?

 

Probably about 10-20% less than you bought it from the Mint.

 

oh crap, but I can imagine the excuse for them to do that. oh well...

 

so my order did go through for the 1 oz AGE proof so my next target is the 1oz Buffalo proof ill have to save up or sell some silver

 

what will happen if gold average price passes $1,400.00 next week. prices for those mint products will jump two brackets. can the mint do that?.
