    I been there so many times....the ABC islands we called them. Must have some coins around here somewhere...

    From Aruba, we can make a straight line to the US Virgin Islands, which up to 1917 were the Danish West Indies. Here's a 12 skilling from 1767:

    Probably a 1000 miles north but with nothing in between. From Bermuda it is probably possible to go to almost any country in the Atlantic. :)
