Alrightey, then. Costa Rica borders on Nicaragua. I don't have any individual picture of a Costa Rican coin handy, but here, I'll borrow some Costa Rican coins back from the folks who won some from me in one of my giveaways. So let's play from Costa Rica next. @chrsmat71's photo (coin at lower left). @Mad Stax's photo (coin at upper right) @MontCollector's photo (middle coin in top row- he said it was his first from Costa Rica, which is neat).
There was no direct path between Guatemala and Nicaragua either. So... if we go back to Guatemala, Belize was a valid post.
Actually it is possible to go directly from Guatemala to Nicaragua. Each bulges out into the Pacific around El Salvador. Seems like some members need a geography lesson or two.
Crap I gotta go back and read the rules. Serves me right for trying to join the dark side without going to the academy.
I usually look at a map to make sure I am staying within the rules of this game, however, being a mere human, I do err at times.....now this one, Australia, is certainly a straight shot from either of the New Guinea places.
Sail due north from Caracas, and we should end up in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico (Spanish rule): silver 20 centavos, 1895-PG-V
Haiti: 25 centimes, L'An 1(-?) (An early Haitian silver piece from the first decade or so of the 1800s, dated by their revolutionary calendar. The last digit of the date is not clear.)
