No problem, fellow numismatist. I see you know how to edit a post, good. Some guys have not learnt that trick.
I'm not sure, @Muzyck. I can still edit the post above your question and it says I did it 42 minutes ago. So, I'm guessing an hour. I bet @lordmarcovan can give us a more accurate idea of how long we have to edit a post.
Thanks. I was asking @coin_nut specifically because he is a Supporter and wanted to check if the entitlements are set differently. I know there may be a few differences.
Well, I was wrong. Now it's been more than one hour and I can still Edit. I would not think a supporter would get additional time to edit, but who knows. Edit: okay, that one with the 1933 two-schilling. It says 6:28 - and the Edit option is still available - my computer says it 8:16. I wonder if I edit it, will the allowable edit time reset? Edit Deux: I think it might be two hours. "Edit" is gone at the two-schilling. Hmmm .. . maybe not two hours. This one I'm editing now, created at 7:30, and my computer says it's 9:44 - so that's like 2.25 hours. Or maybe the actual editing extends the time to edit. I see that I last edited this at 8:17. Bottom line - I still don't know.
At one time I did notice that my time to edit changed. It may have been that my "Supporter" time ran out, or it could have been after I spent some time in the doghouse (see avatar) a while back. The length did change without explanation.
I think there is some limit to how long you have to edit a post. It may vary according to how much whiskers you have (seniority) or suction points (supporter). A moderator might be able to answer the question. I was more excited when I got promoted on zeno.ru so that I could edit my own posts and comments. Now I can trim off extraneous stuff and make the whole thing look much better. Oh, I should post a coin...maybe France...1 franc 1941
From Belgium to Luxembourg with this 1990 dated franc graced with the visage of the Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg.
