Britain. 1723 shilling with C & SS in alternate quarters on the reverse indicating the silver was supplied by the South Sea Company.

Let's visit Denmark! An 1860 one-skilling rigsmont (KM 763). It was minted in Hamburg - or a section or borough of Hamburg called Altona.

Germany via a 1792 Aachen 12-heller (KM 51). Rather worn condition.

1793 French 12 Deniers, the very year Louis XVI got executed.
Next coin should be from a South American neighbour of France as French Guyana is also a part of France.

How did you get from Switzerland to French Guyana? What about Germany, that country borders France...

French Guyana is still a part of France, not an overseas territory.

So I can go back thru France to Germany and am not limited to adjacent to French Guyana. By the same token French Guyana is a coastal country so I could straight line over to say ..South Africa..no?

I got to agree with Razz. Maybe we need a mod to straighten this out.

It is French Guiana, and it is a Department of France, but not geographically pertinent to the instructions in this thread (I think). Also, as I understand it, you cannot repeat the same country in the next post (if you were to accept French Guiana as part of France.)
