It's a shame because I just bought something that was kinda expensive too.

Apmex offering pre-33 gold eagles in MS61 for ~$700. Be sure to check pre-33 and not bullion. The price difference is nominal, and if you also get CC bonus, it really pays off.

Received my 4X offer, looked for some seated liberty stuff but the ones I like are at PCGS list prices +++
Well I have 16-1/2 hours to find something or not

I bought an NGC MS61 $10 Liberty Eagle (random date / common date). 8% Ebay discount, 2% cashback on credit card. Net cost was about $633.

Of course the hope is that as at some place as big as Apmex, that they made a mistake and throw a "rare date" into the wrong box - but at that price I'm satisfied with whatever arrives to stash away for retirement.

I was hoping to work on the peace dollar collection, but there just wasn't anything out that made it worth pulling the trigger.

I snapped up five 21st century New Zealand proof sets that had been marked down 33% at just $100 each. $250 off, plus $40 worth of eBay Bucks and $7.58 in rebates on my credit card. I could not say 'no.'
