40 % Silver Coins

That's really good. I need to get over my fear of Ebay and get an account to sell going.

I found a dealer that will do 90% melt on 40% halves. I know I can do better.

 

Rolls are realizing 58-60$ each on the Bay.

 

Of course you have to factor in fees.

 

That's incredible, melt value is $50.00 right now.

Correction: BU rolls are selling around 60+. But mixed rolls are still going well over melt.

 

I can sell around 95% melt at my coin club. There's a guy there that loves the stuff. Ebay looks good too though.

What is the silver content of a 40% kennedy half?

 

.1479 ounces, takes 7 of them to make an ounce.

 

Assuming $60 with standard fee's and shipping costs of $3 those sellers are getting back of melt as shown below.

Have you guys ever tried selling via the buy/sell forum here? Pretty sure you could easily get melt even for 40% as I know I have multiple times in the past.

 

I'm going to stick to my coin club, getting around 95% melt.

don't pay more than melt for the 40% halves (same goes for the 35% war nickels) - their retail price mirror the daily spot price - the 1970D is scarce, so you probably won't find any of those at melt
